| And then there's Martha... Our " angel unaware", Martha was the "maiden aunt" who stayed home. She did venture out for her C. D. so she could say she had a title like everyone else in the family. Then, recognizing the Peter Principle, our resident C.P. (couch potato) retired to the couch. She was the cleverest, most conniving charmer you could hope to meet. Small and wiry, she bounced through life like an India rubber ball, tough as an old boot, physically, but with a marshmallow heart. Martha epitomized "Inner Bigness". |
